-November 13th, 2023-
Prayer Request from Seth M: Because of a dangerous living situation, where I was urgently moved onto the dorms, I’ve fallen behind in my projects in my MA program. Since going through that, I haven’t been sleeping well—pray for deep sleep, peace, and rest. Pray that God will give me great wisdom, creativity, focus, and discipline and help me to excel and get ahead on all projects and assignments. Pray that God will uphold me, and pray for favor, grace, and excellence on everything. Pray that I will be top in the class on every project, assignment, and exam. Now that I’ve moved into the dorms in a (possibly) temporary situation, pray that God will secure and establish me in a living situation that is safe, generous, sustainable, and more than sufficient. Pray for employment that aligns with my direction. Pray that Christ will be glorified in and through everything I do and that God will answer above and beyond all we can ask or imagine. Thanks.

-November 7th, 2023-
Prayer Request from Seth: I have an elderly Siera Leonian friend named Sullay. Because of challenges with disability, he lost his income and was evicted from his apartment in Portland, OR. I’ve been arranging places for him to stay, and bought flights for him to Nashville, TN where his daughter and her family can take care of him. Suddenly he is afraid she won’t accept him, and is considering checking into a shelter instead of going. The decision between Nashville and homelessness in Portland is clearly a decision between life and death. Pray he will choose life! Pray his daughter will strongly re-affirm her love for him, and he will feel loved by his family. Pray that God will bless him in Nashville, provide for him, and provide a place for him. Pray that he will NEVER be homeless, without a roof, or without healthy meals for the remainder of his life! Pray that for the rest of his life he will always have family and friends who love, respect and care for him, and that God will give the rest of his life meaning, value, purpose, and he will leave a spiritual inheritance. Thanks.

Please pray for Roger and Kara S's granddaughter, Hailey. She is recovering from surgery on the left side of her brain yesterday (10/05/23). This morning's MRI showed some blood pooling and she is being kept another night. The following are prayer requests from the family: "Please pray for her comfort. She’s starting to wake up a bit, but still pretty groggy from all the medicine, and she really hates her IV. Please pray that the pooling blood doesn’t grow at all, and we’d be able to go home early tomorrow. Please also pray for this cyst to not regrow, and that we’d be done with these surgeries. Pray that the ETV would also remain open and the fluid will continue to flow freely. Please also pray that, by the draining of the cyst that we’d see her seizures go away completely."
