Spiritual Mentoring

Barnabas was intentional in his development of Paul. He stood up for Paul when Paul needed someone to vouch for him, modeled what Godly leadership looked like in a church setting to the novice Paul, gave Paul practical experience in ministry, and then stepped aside from primary leadership to allow Paul to emerge as God’s leader for the future. I will challenge some of our mature Christians to ask God who they could disciple throughout the leadership lifecycle.
