A Personal God

Many in our society are beginning to cling to a sort of deism or far eastern mentality of God – a God who is distant and remote – a kind of force.   In contrast, the Savior that breaks into people's lives in the first Christmas story is a very personal God – who asks us to allow Him to invade the personal sanctuaries of our hearts and souls – and invites us to have a personal relationship with him. I will challenge our people to allow Jesus to be their intimate Savior.
