Making Peace and Finding Peace

When two people we care about – whether colleagues at work or friends – or extended family at home – we cringe and are afraid to get involved – afraid of “collateral” damage. Yet we, as Christians, are called to be peace-makers. Few things rob us of that job quicker than interpersonal conflict between two people we care deeply about. It’s vital if we want to be peace-makers that we start with finding our own inner peace. In verses 2-3 we read about the importance of helping others resolve their differences. In verses 4-9 we read about how we can find our own inner peace while we help others resolve their differences.
